Concepts of the Week - Summer 2010

Below, we have listed our "Concepts of the Week" for this summer. Each day, coaches will be teaching these concepts at the beginning of each practice session. We have found that concentrating on a concept for an entire week and repeating that concept twice per year is an effective way to get athletic and life skills across to our athletes. Over a normal swimming career with the Marlins, an athlete may spend 12 or more weeks on each concept. We would urge parents to further each swimmer's understanding of our concepts and use them as a point of communication when talking about swimming.
